Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, in 2020 ACCA held its International Assembly online for the first time. In turn, this knowledge prepares its members as well as the accounting and finance profession, as a whole, for tomorrow. From global economics and emerging technologies to risk management, understanding the impact of a range of factors helps ACCA shape and lead the profession into the future. During the turbulence of Covid-19, in early March 2020 ACCA also introduced more support including a dedicated Covid-19 Hub for members and future members. This included extra CPD resources and news items to keep ACCA’s community connected and informed on key developments. ACCA’s Accounting and Business (AB) magazine, for members, covers topical issues and supports and inspires their careers and work. It is published in app and web formats. Achievements ACCA is proud to have an 81.3% satisfaction rating by its members and future members, the highest in five years. In addition, 82.8% of members and future members and 87% of employers agree that ACCA is an innovative and forward-thinking organisation. ACCA has also been recognised as the Professional Body of the Year, 2020 and 2019 by The Accountant / International Accounting Bulletin digital accountancy awards.
