HISTORY The ASAS Group of Companies is one of the oldest and largest business groups in Tanzania. The mother company, formerly known as A. S. ABRI Transporters, was established in early 1936 in Iringa, Tanzania. Mr. A.S. Abri, the founder, focused his attention on the transportation issues of the time and managed to buy his first truck, starting his journey into success. Thanks to his insight and hard work, he was able to expand the business, forming ASAS in 1978. What started out as a one-truck business soon turned into a name known all over the world. In the year 2000, ASAS DAIRIES LTD was established in Iringa, Tanzania.
