But there's a question we rarely ask with the depth it deserves: who, after all, leads creativity? The answer seems simple and obvious, I dare say: creatives. But the truth is more complex. Creativity is an ecosystem. And like any ecosystem, it depends on the right climate to flourish, for ideas to sprout and blossom. This climate is defined, every day, by agency leadership. Because, in truth, creativity isn't imposed. It's inspired. Leading in communications, whether branding or traditional advertising—an increasingly dated term—isn't just about managing teams, clients, budgets, or deadlines. It's about having the courage to protect creative space in a metrics-driven world. It's about knowing that extraordinary ideas aren't born from fear, but from freedom.
